Paint correction is the process of removing imperfections in automotive painted surfaces, such as swirl marks, scratches, paint transfer, and water spot etchings. These imperfections are often caused by improper care of the paint, such as improper washing and drying, wiping the car while it is dirty or dry, or applying car covers before the car has been cleaned. Although there are many ways that defects can enter a car's paint, the only way to remove them is through paint correction.

At Tomlin Detailing, we thoroughly clean the car and remove any protective layers or contaminants that may be on the paint that will interfere with the correction. We then correct any defects in the paint by removing microscopic layers of clearcoat with machine polishers. We are extensively trained and experienced in the various processes and products used during paint correction so you can trust us to perfect your car.

Tomlin Detailing is Charlotte's paint correction and ceramic coating specialist. We strive to be the best of the best when it comes to restoring your cars shine.
